07:47 pm - [03] Taking a break....

I'm taking a break from studying for finals to say CONGRATULATIONS to SHINee for winning on Music Bank yesterday/today.

I'd post more, but I seriously have to study.
See you next week?

11:03 am - [02] To the Five Stars of the Universe
I don't know what happened to me, but I've been (and still am) in a slump lately. I don't want to get up in the morning after I've finally manage to go to sleep, and I don't want to sleep when I've been awake for nearly a day, but the one thing I do want to do is listen to your beautiful music. You are one of the reasons why I'm not totally fucked up today. I owe you my love and my support. Thank you, SHINee, for everything!

12:48 pm - [01] FIRST POST

I was planning to make a LiveJournal on the day of SHINee's official debut, but I couldn't wait. I don't know why since I don't have anything dire to say except to release some of my fangirling of SHINee's newest music video, Romeo. Oh gosh, WHY ARE THEY ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE EARTH FROM ME? Well, not really, but you get what I mean. I will write more about their mv later; right now I'm still fixing up this journal. This better not become another thing that I neglect... I hope subscribing to the yearly service crap forces me to do something useful!

Since this post is full of nothing, I'll pimp it with no other than...

12:00 am - Welcome to LiveJournal
Congratulations, you now have your own blog!
And here’s the small instruction that will help you to start your LJ-life.

Find new friends

The word “friends” in LiveJournal means the blogs of people you want to read. You don’t need to know someone personally to add him to your Friend list. You can read the entries from the blogs you added to the Friend list on your Friends page.
How can you find friends? To begin with check whether some of your real friends have their blogs: we’ll check your email address list and tell you if anyone is registered in LiveJournal.
After that everything depends on you: write entries to your own blog, read communities and find people who share the same interests with you!

Customize your journal

If you want to change the look of your blog you can customize it according to your taste:

  • think about the journal title and subtitle;
  • change the design theme of your journal;
  • customize it by choosing mood themes or changing texts of the links
and much more!

Upload a userpic

Userpics are icons or avatars used to represent yourself, your moods or your interests, etc. They are displayed in many locations on LiveJournal next to your username. You can upload your userpics here.
Learn more about userpics.

Add some information about you

Fill in the profile of your journal: add your interests, write a small text that describes you. And don’t forget to specify the country you live in in the field “Location” so that you can get interesting and important news about LiveJournal in your region.

What are communities?

Communities are journals where many users post entries on the similar topics. There are thousands of different communities in LiveJournal and you’ll definitely find something interesting.
Check the most popular LJ communities.
After you find communities you like just join them to post your entries there and read new entries in your Friends page.

Start writing!

It’s really easy to create a new entry: simply open the “New entry” page and write! You can find a way to this page from the menu on the homepage: the “Post an Entry” link in the “Journal” tab.
There are two different ways to create an entry: using Visual editor or HTML. We recommend you to use Visual editor that has a lot of convenient buttons.
Learn more about posting to your journal.
Here are some tips about creating an entry:

  • add pictures and photos: just use special buttons on the Post an Entry page;
  • use an "LJ-Cut" to hide everything underneath it with a link;
  • add tags – words of short phrases used to organize your entries in the journal.

Control who can read your journal entries

When you post an entry, you can choose a security setting which controls who can see your entries. There are several options:

  • Public (visible to everyone who reads your journal);
  • Friends-only (visible only to people on your Friends list);
  • Private (visible only to you).
Learn more here.

Stay up to date

You can check the LiveJournal news, get new comments to an interesting entry in your favorite community and much more - just subscribe to the updates.
You’ll get messages about new comments or new friends in your inbox or by email.

If you still have any questions about LiveJournal you can find all answers in FAQ.
